21.06.2022 Non-profit Joint Stock Company "Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University" (hereinafter - the University) announces a competition for filling vacant positions of teaching staff for the 2022-2023 academic year
Requirements for vacant positions: for the position of professor: availability of higher, postgraduate education, scientific degree, scientific title «professor», experience in scientific-pedagogical activity not less than 5 years; to the position of Associate Professor/Associate Professor (Associate Professor): the presence of higher, postgraduate education, degree of Candidate of Sciences or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), the scientific title of «Associate Professor» / «Associate Professor (Associate Professor)», the experience of scientific and pedagogical activity of not less than 5 years; to the position of senior teacher: higher education, postgraduate education, scientific and pedagogical experience of at least 3 years or work experience in the specialty of at least 5 years and / or the degree of candidate of science or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.); for the position of teacher: higher education, postgraduate education, work experience in the specialty not less than 3 years and / or work experience in the specialty not less than 3 years and / or the degree of Master of Science. An applicant submits the following documents by the deadline indicated in the Call for Proposals: 1. Current employees of the University: 1) an application form addressed to the Chairman of the Board - Rector for participation in the competition (in accordance with Annex 1); 2) Candidate`s questionnaire in paper or electronic format (in accordance with Annex 2)*; 3) Candidate`s performance evaluation questionnaire (as per annex 3)**; 4) the decision of the chair meeting; 5) list of scientific works and inventions, certified by the chief scientific secretary (for the last 5 years); 6) certificates of foreign language proficiency (if available); 7) copies of certificates of retraining and advanced training (if any) and originals for verification (for the last 5 years). 2. Candidates who are not full-time employees of the University: 1) an application form addressed to the Chairman of the Board - Rector for participation in the competition (as per Annexure 1); 2) Candidate`s application form in paper or electronic format (in accordance with Annex 2);* 3) copy of identity card, copies of diplomas of higher and (or) postgraduate education, academic and academic degree, document of academic rank, their originals for verification; 4) document confirming employment history (for persons with work experience), personal record sheet; 5) certificate of absence of criminal record; 6) medical certificates confirming absence of registration in narcological, psychoneurological clinics; 7) certificates of foreign language proficiency (if any); 8) copies of certificates of retraining and advanced training (if any) and originals for verification (for the last 5 years); 9) list of scientific works and inventions, certified by the chief scientific secretary (for the last 5 years); 10) reference or recommendation from the last place of work, CV. Documents on education issued by foreign educational institutions shall be provided together with a notarized translation into the Kazakh or Russian languages. Documents on education issued by foreign institutions of higher education to the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan - holders of the international scholarship «Bolashak», as well as under international treaties (agreements) are recognized in the Republic of Kazakhstan without undergoing the procedures for the recognition of documents on education. In case of incomplete submission of documents and (or) expired documents for participation in the competition, the application with all documents is returned to the person who submitted the application before the competition. The deadline for submission of applications and documents for participation in the competition is June 27, 2022 (inclusive). In accordance with the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on March 25, 2021 № 122 «On the definition of the recommended teaching load and the minimum wage teaching staff in the organizations of higher and (or) postgraduate education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan» determined the teaching load and salary in the context of full-time teaching staff positions. *Procedure of work with questionnaire data: Each candidate fills in the provided form «Candidate Questionnaire» on the basis of individual indicators that reflect the performance of the candidate for the academic period with the attached supporting documents; the candidates shall fill in the questionnaire based on the achieved results for the period indicated in the questionnaire «Period of measurement». **The Heads of Departments to evaluate the performance of the staff members participating in the competition shall complete the «Teacher Performance Evaluation Questionnaire» (according to Annex 3) with the involvement of three leading experts of the Departments. Requirements for saving an electronic file of the «Candidate Questionnaire»: Surname_name_of_the_candidate_form (name and surname (if any) according to the candidate`s ID).
