An event to explain the anti-terrorist leadership to students of the Faculty of History and Law


On November 19, 2024, an important briefing on anti-terrorism security was conducted for the students of the Faculty of History and Law. As part of this event, staff members from the M.Esbolatov Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan held lectures and practical sessions aimed at raising students` awareness about counterterrorism measures.

 

Main Speakers: Narbaev Bekzat - Police Lieutenant Colonel, Head of the Center for Training Specialists in Counteracting Extremism at the M. Esbolatov Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He delivered a lecture titled «Terrorist Security: Implementing the Guidelines» in which he thoroughly outlined the key principles of anti-terrorism security and the steps necessary to effectively follow the guidelines. During his lecture, he answered students` questions, clarifying key aspects of ensuring safety in the face of terrorist threats.

 

Tyndybaev Kuanish- Police Lieutenant Colonel, Associate Professor of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities at the Makan Esbolatov Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. His lecture focused on "Countering Terrorist Ideology on the Internet." He demonstrated videos showing how terrorist groups use the internet to spread radical ideas and highlighted the importance of timely recognizing such threats. Kuanish Kudaibergenovich also discussed precautionary measures to help avoid involvement in terrorist activities and answered questions from both students and faculty.

 

At the conclusion of the event, Zhanelya Sailybaeva, Head of the Department of Law and Candidate of Legal Sciences, thanked all participants for their active involvement and expressed gratitude for the productive discussion of key anti-terrorism issues.
