Representative of Abai University became a member of the Presidium of the Council of Young Scientists of NAS RK

Chairman of the Council of Young Researchers of Abai KazNPU, Associate Professor Shakhislam Laiskhanov joined the Presidium of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and was elected Deputy Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists.

The Council of Young Scientists will head the Presidium, whose members will be representatives of the National Kurultai under the President of the RK and the National Council on Science and Technology, chairmen of regional organisations of young scientists. "The work of the Presidium is conducted by divisions and has representation in the regions. Thus, we will raise the status of the Council of Young Scientists at the National Academy of Sciences, and, accordingly, it will become an effectively functioning organisation that unites the leading young scientists of the country and has all the necessary powers for its activities", - said the President of the Board of NAS RK A.K.Kurishbaev.

Within the framework of the instruction of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, a large-scale work on the development of domestic science, expansion of fundamental and applied research is being carried out.
