A business game on the theme "Elections and the right to be elected" was held, dedicated to World Election Day

On February 9, 2023, senior lecturer at the Department of Jurisprudence of the Institute of History and Law, scholarship holder of the Bolashak program Kassymbek A. O. held a business game on the topic "The right to elect and be elected" dedicated to World Election Day with 1st year students of the educational programs "6B04201-Jurisprudence: judicial and prosecutorial activities" and "6B04202-Jurisprudence".

Elections are the main instrument for the realization of national sovereignty, the formation and expression of public opinion, and ensuring the stability and effectiveness of the State mechanism.

The purpose of the event is to form and enhance the electoral culture of future law students, to form their knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for the conscious realization of electoral rights.

As part of the business game, each team studied the current electoral legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, conducted a comparative analysis of foreign practice, prepared explanations and conclusions.
