Meeting with Education Attaché of the Consulate General of Turkey

On November 29, 2023, a meeting was held at the Consulate General of Turkey in Almaty with employees of the Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation of Institute of Philology. The event was attended by the education attache of the Consulate General of Turkey in Almaty Ayhan Korkmaz, head of the Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation of Institute of Philology N.N. Konkabaeva, senior teacher G.K.Satbay, Turkish language teacher, volunteer Reyhan Gokpen.

The aim of this meeting: research cooperation between teachers, getting to know each other, organizing olympiads, competitions, creative evenings among Turkish language students, support in teaching the Turkish language. Due to the fact that the number of students who chose Turkish as a first or second foreign language is about 200 students, it was proposed to send another volunteer teacher to the Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation of the Institute of Philology.

At the end of the meeting, both parties presented each other with gifts.
