International conference on the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On August 28, 2020 at 3 p.m. the online International scientific-practical conference devoted to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Constitutional values as a legal basis for consolidation of society to overcome global challenges" will be held through videoconferencing, in which Kazakhstan and foreign scientists and experts will take part.

The organizers are the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the N.Nazarbayev Foundation, the International Financial Center "Astana" (IFCA), the Abai KazNPU, the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute, the OSCE Office of Programs in Nur-Sultan, N.Nazarbayev Eurasian Law Academy, the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute, the National Academy of Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, D.A.Kunaev Eurasian Law Academy.

The purpose of the event is to sum up the work of the Basic Law of the country for these years. Within the framework of conference presentation of the book which is presented by Constitutional Council of RK will take place. The book "Kazakhstan way: constitutionalism, man, peace and prosperity" contains articles reflecting the foreign specialists` assessment of the role and significance of the country`s Constitution in the construction of modern Kazakhstan statehood, processes of establishment of democracy standards, principles of rule of law and constitutionalism in the country.

The author`s team of the publication includes representatives of authoritative international organizations, heads of constitutional control bodies, famous domestic and foreign state and public figures, world-renowned scientists.
