Webometrics: Abai University entered the TOP 5 best universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan

Webometrics Ranking of World Universities-2023 (July), an international ranking of websites of the world`s best educational institutions, which is compiled every six months, has been published. This is a global ranking based on a combined indicator that takes into account the demand for the university website and publications of its researchers in the scientific metrics systems Scopus and Google Scholar.

The world ranking included 130 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the new data Webometrics Abai University entered the top 5 best universities in the country, taking 5th place (in 2022 ranked 7th and 10th places), among the pedagogical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan - 1st place.

Webometrics analyses the presence of universities in the Internet space, including scientific publications, assesses the content and popularity of university websites. According to Cybermetrics Lab methodology, the algorithm of ranking universities is built on the basis of three indicators: Impact, Openness, Excellence. By Impact Abai University ranks 2nd among Kazakhstani universities. Its website also holds high positions in national and international rankings.

Abai KazNPU continues to demonstrate annual achievements, which again confirm its stable position in the global system of higher education.
