Vocational guidance for students of the Medical College

On February 13, 2023, Department of Special Pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai KazNPU conducted career guidance work with graduates of the Republican Higher Medical College of Almaty. About 50 students and six teachers of this educational institution took part in specially organized event.

During the career guidance session, a specially designed video clip was shown and detailed information was given on the training of special pedagogy specialists in all curricula. Moreover, it was noted that students of four subject areas of special pedagogy, namely speech therapy, deaf education, visually impaired pedagogy and oligophrenopaedagogy will receive a bachelor`s degree. And they will be able to deepen their knowledge in their speciality and continue their studies in Master`s and Doctoral programmes.

For this event, graduates of this college are invited to an Open Day on 16 February at 2.30pm, which will take place in the PPI in auditorium 15!

It will be organised by D.K. Baidosova, Senior Lecturer, responsible for the career guidance work of the Special Pedagogy Department, Master of Pedagogy.
