Turkish scientist will give lectures at the Abai University

On October 3, 2022, Professor Erdogan Altinkayak met with the leadership of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation as part of the program to attract foreign scientists. Erdogan Altynkayak arrived in Almaty, Abai University at the invitation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 03/10/2022 to 29/10/2022 to give a course of lectures, conduct seminars, scientific consultations and master classes for students, undergraduates, PhD doctoral students of the Institute of Philology. During the meeting, the guest was acquainted with the teaching staff of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation, and a number of issues were discussed about holding joint scientific events with the teaching staff of the Institute of Philology. Seminars, a round table and a number of webinars are planned.

The foreign professor arrived from Turkey, Ardahan University, he specializes in studying the folklore of Asian countries. Author of 25 books, more than 60 articles and publications.
