International Round Table «Main Trends in Teaching the Russian Language in Modern Education»

On June 7, 2022, the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology held the International Round Table «Main Trends in Teaching the Russian Language in Modern Education».

The meeting was opened by Tatyana Baryshnikova, Consul of the Consulate General of Russia in Almaty, representative of Rossotrudnichestvo. Presentations were made by scientists and teachers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Georgia.

More than 70 participants of the event - university professors and school teachers from different countries - received not only important and useful information, but also an impetus for further creative work.

Concluding the International Round Table, Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature Saule Abisheva emphasized the importance of the Russian language in the international educational, economic and cultural space, thanked all the speakers and wished the participants of the meeting further professional success.
