Book is a silent teacher

On February 18, 2022, the scientific library of Abai KazNPU and the Institute of Philology and multilingual education held a cultural event on «Book is a silent teacher» as part of the week «Days of the Institute».

The event was attended by the Director of the Institute A.V. Tanzharykova, heads of departments, heads of educational programmes S.Zh. Abisheva, N.A. Ilyasova, PhD S.T. Tleubay, Professor K.H. Abdrahman, Senior Lecturer M.B. Tulegenova, Head of Educational and Methodological Association of the Institute A.N.Yusup, author of EP, Professor M.A.Zhunus, responsible for library work, Senior Lecturer Sh.D.Kuttybayev, as well as other teachers and students of 2-3 courses.

The head of the department of acquisition and communication G.Zh. Akimzhan told about the provision of literature for educational programs of the Institute, introduced the incoming educational and methodical publications. Professors S.Zh. Abisheva and N.A. Ilyasova told about textbooks and manuals published by the faculty over the past five years. Librarians B.K. Naizakaraeva, M.U. Seksenova and A. Darken advised teachers and students on electronic registration and use of databases. L.A. Bayzhunusova showed how to work with the electronic catalogue and use the resources of the digital library.
