The participants of the conference in Yekaterinburg got acquainted with the legacy of M. Makatayev

On January 27, 2022, the international scientific and practical conference «Bazhov - cultural heritage» was held, organized by the staff of Ural State Pedagogical University (Russia, Yekaterinburg).

At this scientific forum, the problems of the cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia and countries of Central Asia were discussed.

Head of the department of Russian Language and Literature of Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education of Abai KazNPU, Professor Saule Abisheva made a report on the topic «Cultural heritage of Mukagali Makataev: fate and poetry» at the conference. She spoke in detail about the fate and work of the famous Kazakh poet.

Scientific contacts of the Department of Russian Language and Literature have a wide geography. Today, one more foreign university has been added to them, cooperation with which will continue.
