International cooperation is being strengthened

On November 6, 2020, the teaching staff of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Abai KazNPU took part in the XII International Scientific Online Conference "Modern Trends in Physical Culture and Sports", organized by the Department of Sports of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridsky (Bulgaria).

Prior to the conference the head of the department, professor E.M. Mukhiddinov spoke with a brief, but interesting, requiring lively attention, information about Kazakhstan, our university, and about the specialty, which clearly interested Bulgarian colleagues. Angelina Yaneva, Speaker of the Conference and Professor of the Department of Sport at Sofia University, translated the main theses of her Kazakh colleague`s report and expressed her intention for cooperation.

E.K. Seisenbekov, Acting Professor of the Department, noted that he had known Bulgarian colleagues since 2013 when he underwent scientific training at the «Bolashak» IEP. He made a presentation and answered questions from his colleagues.

At the end of the online conference, preliminary negotiations were held on further mutual cooperation, joint training, and sports camps at the bases of the two universities, sports events, mutual academic mobility and many other types of mutually partnership relations.
