Meeting of the rector with young teachers

On December 3, 2019, Rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University Takir Balykbayev met with members of the new public organization «Association of young teachers» created in our university.

Vice-rector for academic affairs, Asan Satmyrzaev and senior officials of the university administration, attended the meeting.

During the meeting, representatives of young scientists, teachers and staff shared their views on various academic, scientific and social issues in an open dialogue format.

The first leader emphasized that such events affect different stages of university life and necessitate the joint solution of problems in all departments of the university. In addition, the rector spoke about the planned activities and initiatives of the university.

During the meeting, the current situation in doctoral studies, the insufficient salaries of young teachers, the lack of housing programs, the succession of young people with the older generation, the prospects for staff growth, the systematic trends of sports events and the modernization of institutions, infrastructure and laboratory equipment and other pressing problems were discussed.

Some issues were solved under the direct supervision of the rector and the persons responsible for their implementation were identified.

It is also recommended that regular meetings be held openly once in two months at the request of young specialists.

In turn, the rector expressed confidence that the development of the university and the health of its younger generation would be carried out with direct participation of all parties. He noted that he always supports the constructive ideas of teachers and students as the head of the university.
