Foreign speakers spoke at the Summer School of Abai KazNPU

 

  

 

On June 19, 2019, at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in the framework of the Summer School, there was held a seminar on two topics - «Tips for writing a good project application» and «Education for sustainable development» with the participation of international speakers.


The purpose of the event is to transfer experience and knowledge in writing and submitting successful international project proposals within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE program, disclosing the topic of education for sustainable development.


The seminar was attended by Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation of Abai KazNPU Aktolkyn Kulsariуevа, foreign speakers - Education Advisor of the Institute of Global Impact (University of Magdeburg, Germany) Carlos Machado («Tips on writing a good project application»), Director of the Center for Promotion of Educational Development of the University of Okayama (Japan) Hiroki Fuji («Education for Sustainable Development»), as well as heads of departments and teaching staff, undergraduates and doctoral students of our university.


In the framework of the seminar on the first topic, questions were raised on the preparation of effective international project applications and recommendations on project planning, writing applications (indicators, rationales), what activities the project implementers need to take to obtain the results indicated in the project and resources for their implementation.


On the second topic - «Education for Sustainable Development» - the issues of providing quality education and learning for sustainable development at all levels, constructive and creative solutions for present and future global problems, increasing the sustainability and viability of society were considered.


During the event, the seminar participants asked questions to the speakers and received exhaustive answers, an exchange of views and experiences took place.
