Abai University announces a competition for vacancies

NJSC Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University nnounces a competition for the position of the Dean of the faculty:

1. Faculty of "Arts":

- Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs-Science and International Relations;
- Deputy Dean for Educational Work;

2. Faculty of Physical Culture and Initial Military Training:

- Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs-Science and International Relations;

3. Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology:

- Deputy Dean for Research and International Relations;

4. Faculty of History and Jurisprudence:

- Deputy Dean for Research and International Relations.

Qualification requirements:

Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs - Science and International Relations:

Higher (or postgraduate) education, аcademic degree (academic title), аt least 3 years of experience in managerial positions in educational organizations or in the specialty, knowledge of regulatory legal acts in the field of education.

Deputy Dean for Educational Work:

Higher (postgraduate) education, academic degree or academic master`s degree, work experience in senior positions in educational organizations or educational work for at least 3 years and knowledge of regulatory legal acts in the field of education.

The following documents are required for participation in the contest:

1. application in the prescribed form (Appendix 1);

2. copy of the participant`s identity document;

3. participant`s service record with a color photograph sized 3x4 in the prescribed form (Appendix 2);

4. copies of diplomas of education, academic degree, and originals for verification;

5. copy of the document confirming employment activity, certified by the HR department at the place of current (or last) employment;

6. list of scientific works and inventions, certified by the Chief Scientific Secretary (for the last 5 years);

7. copies of retraining and advanced training certificates (if available) and originals for verification (for the last 3 years);

8. medical certificate in the form № 075/ or a copy of the sanitary book;

9. certificate of presence or absence of information on the commission of a criminal offense (criminal record certificate);

10. certificate of presence or absence of information on the commission of a corruption offense (for managerial positions);

11. additional documents: a characteristic and/or recommendation letter from the last place of work, and the candidate may provide additional information regarding education, professional level, etc.;

12. presentation of the project for the faculty development program for the next 3 years (the presentation should be submitted in electronic form, not exceeding 5-6 slides).

Document submission for participation in the contest is carried out within 10 (ten) working days from the date of publication of the announcement.

The date and venue of the contest will be announced later.

The aforementioned documents must be submitted in scanned form to the email: hr.konkurs@abaiuniversity.edu.kz and in person at the address: Almaty, Dostyk Ave. 13 (office №102, 1st floor) on working days from 9:00 AM to 17:00 PM.
