International project «Bird of the Year-2022»

In order to study the species diversity of birds, the Biology educational program of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of the Abai KazNPU, together with the Almaty Zoological Park of the Almaty City Department of Culture, launches the International Project «Bird of the Year» for the International Bird Day. Students of secondary schools, lyceums, gymnasiums (grades 1-8) and students of 2-3 courses of higher pedagogical educational institutions of the country are invited to participate.

Implementation period: from March 31, 2022 to April 16, 2022.

Project plan
1. Drawing contest «All about birds», students of grades 1-8 participate.
2. The exhibition «Bird on the nest», students of 2-3 courses of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of KazNPU named after Abai participate.
3. Integrated contest «With love about birds», students of 2-3 courses of pedagogical universities of the republic participate, in the online mode.
4. The contest «On the pages of the Bird of the Year», students of pedagogical universities participate in the online mode.
