Head of Abai TV Studio of

Public Relations Department

The main functional responsibilities of the structural unit:

- develops the concept of the television studio;

- organises the production of informative videos for the University`s official website and social media pages;

- organises the work on shooting documentary films and videos about the University activities;

- controls the compliance with the deadlines for providing video materials;

- Participates in the development of creative projects and their artistic design, prepares video material for the TV studio;

- Organizes the broadcasting of the finished programmes for the students on the territory of the University;

- cooperates with other departments and divisions of the University, as well as with officials;

- Supervises the implementation of the current work and orders of the University authorities;

- Provides the rational use of the material and financial resources, technical means, necessary conditions for the creation of the creative atmosphere in the team;

- carries out work on introduction of the domestic and foreign experience on creation of TV and radio programmes, improvement of the forms and types of TV and radio broadcasting.

Education:

higher education

Business trip:

At least 2 years of experience in a management position in a creative organization

Required professional experience (duration, scope, other)

Ability to report and write business letters, work plan. Editing of video materials and reels. Excellent writing skills for news stories, reports, short film scripts and creative videos. 

Professional competencies:

Ability to work in a team, responsibility, honesty, determination, punctuality.

Knowledge of languages, including the state language (list of languages that the candidate must speak)

Kazakh, Russian

Computer skills:

Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro; MS Office; work with e-mail (Outlook Express) and various browsers (Opera, Firefox, Chrome).
