Research staff of Abai University at Bashkir State Pedagogical University

Scientific staff of the Nemat Kelimbetov Center of Turkology at the Department of Science and Scientific Innovation Park "Abai LABS" of Abai KazNPU, PhD, Prof. Sherubay Kurmanbaiuly and PhD Marlen Adilov visited Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after Akmulla within the framework of the AP23487260 project "Alash figures and the history of the Kazakh literary language at the beginning of the twentieth century".

The scientists were met by the university administration and representatives of structural divisions, who organized a special round table, an official event. Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and International Relations Radik Yulbayev noted that Akmulla University is glad to establish cooperation with a new partner. Vice-Rector for Research Svetlana Gareevaexpressed interest in cooperation with Abai University in the field of philology and pedagogy, outlined the prospects for joint participation in grant projects of various levels.

The dean of the Faculty of Bashkir Philology of Akmulla University, Layla Khusainova, invited colleagues to jointly participate in international competitions of scientific papers, organize mutual internships for students, postgraduates and teachers. Further, Prof. Layla Khusainova invited guests to the faculty and scientists from KazNPU held a scientific seminar. Academician Sh. Kurmanbaiuly gave a lecture on the topic "The development of the Kazakh language in the early twentieth century and the problems of Turkic terminology." Marlen Adilov gave a lecture for students of the Bashkir language and literature specialty "The general vocabulary of Abai and the modern Bashkir language". The scientists also got acquainted with the rich library fund of the university, collected materials on the history of the Bashkir literary language of the early twentieth century, Bashkir terminology.
