Dedication of students of the speciality “Teacher of Oriental Language with English”

On November 2, 2024, the Dedication for students who chose the specialty "Teacher of Oriental Languages with English" was organized at the walls of Abay KazNPU. The purpose of the event was to support the future initiatives of students entering the University, to expand the horizons of students, to develop their creative abilities, to contribute to their spiritual development, and to establish close relations with each other. During the event, all students received souvenirs for the beginning of the new academic year.

This event was organized by the KSK Korean Center of Abay KazNPU established in 2023 with the financial support of the Korean Education Center under the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kazakhstan (Korean language teachers - Nam Natalya, Pak Subin, Burmistrova Elena and Maksat Kultasov).

It should be noted that the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation at the Faculty of Philology was reorganized in 2021, and within 4 years, the number of students who chose Korean as the main language of study increased to 90. As the record number of students enrolled in this specialty has reached 30 in the current academic year, 2 additional groups are being opened.
