The Bostandyk District Police Department met with students from the dormitory.

On October 31, 2024, the Department of Social and Youth Policy at Abai KazNPU organized a meeting between the Bostandyk District Police Department and students living in the dormitory.

The speakers at the event included Police Captain Aibek Kazhatbekov and Senior Lieutenant Darkhan Bekbau from the Bostandyk District Police Department. Also present were Jasylan Mukhashev, the Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, and Medet Azanbaev, the Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty of History and Law, along with students from Dormitory No. 5.

During the meeting, the speakers discussed common offenses among youth, including drug use, ways to prevent it, fraud, the allure of easy money, substance abuse, theft, violence, and gambling addiction. They also shared information about internal regulations, the student code of conduct, preventing provocations, and criminal responsibility within the university dormitories.

Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and received corresponding answers from the speakers. In conclusion, Kainar Malikov, head of the Social Work Department, thanked the guests, Aibek Kazhatbekov and Darkhan Bekbau, for conducting the informative lecture.
