Abai University and Zharkent Higher Pedagogical College signed a memorandum of cooperation

On October 31, 2024, the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai and Zharkent Higher Pedagogical College signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation. This agreement aims to expand the exchange of experience in education, develop new educational programs, and promote the growth of pedagogical colleges in the region.

The event was attended by Clara Kurabaldieva, Director of Zharkent Higher Pedagogical College; Nurshat Saginbayeva, Deputy Director for Academic and Methodological Work; Banu Narbekova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Abai University; Khairulla Zhanbekov, Director of the Department for Academic Affairs; and Rakhymberdy Zhetybai, Head of the Career Center.

The purpose of this memorandum is to develop and implement new educational programs, establish and grow pedagogical colleges and schools, exchange experience in training educational personnel, enhance learning effectiveness through modern methods and technologies, conduct joint seminars, training sessions, and scientific-practical conferences to improve teaching staff qualifications, collaborate on research and innovation projects, support young specialists` adaptation to the job market and expand employment opportunities, implement social projects aimed at improving the quality of education in the region, as well as facilitate students` professional internships and employment.

This cooperation opens up new opportunities to enhance the quality of education and the level of teacher training through the combined efforts of the two institutions.
