Integration of the competence approach and digital technologies in teacher training

On June 5, 2024, an extended meeting of the Educational and Methodological Association of the Republican Educational and Methodological Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Integration of the competency-based approach and digital technologies in teacher training" of the educational and methodological association "Pedagogical Sciences" was held at the Abai KazNPU.

The meeting was attended by Associate Professor of the Kazakh National Women`s Pedagogical University Kozhabekova Akmaral, assistant Professor of Suleiman Demirel Nurmanova Gulzhaina, Associate Professor Zhazylbek Lyazzat and Associate Professor of the Department of Jurisprudence of KazNPU named after Abai Kazieva Assel, Professor Pavlodar State University Gulfira Otepova; teachers of the Department of Informatics and Informatization of Education of KazNPU named after Abai Seisenbekov Perizat and Zhamkeeva Aikenje, as well as heads and members of project teams in three areas of training supervised by UMO and representatives of universities.

During the meeting, the main postulates of the concept of teacher education development, issues of improving the quality of education in the light of the country`s priorities, as well as issues of integrating digital technologies with effective traditional technologies that will help enhance their didactic effect and the quality of graduate training were considered. The demonstrated technologies will allow students to engage in quasi-professional and educational-professional activities and develop their professional competencies.
