Meeting with a famous Oriental scholar

On March 13, 2024, the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU held a meeting on the topic "Historical Geography of Eurasia" in order to share experiences with the design studies of the famous orientalist scientist, Professor Nurlan Kenzheakhmet, who participates in the compilation of the map of the historical geography of Eurasia.

During the scientific event, the guest of the university shared his opinion about the historical and geographical maps of Kazakhstan, about all tribal and national territories that were previously related to the Kazakh people, as well as about the history of the name and location of the Kazakh Horde in the Middle Ages according to maps found in different countries: USA, Germany, Japan, China, Turkey.

In addition, as part of the research conducted on the history of Kazakhstan in the USA and Germany, a discussion platform was created on the topic "Geographical names of the Kazakh Khanate of the XVII-XIX centuries", where participants had the opportunity to get to know more deeply the experience and research of Nurlan Kenzheakhmet.
