The legal meeting on the topic «Do you know your rights?»

On February 21, 2024, a meeting was held with students of KazNPU named after Abai on the topic «Oz kukygyndy bilesin be?», organized by the Psychological Support Service. The meeting was attended by lawyers of Al-Farabi Professor of the Faculty of Law, Candidate of Legal Sciences, author of the textbook «KR Keden kukygy» Kaldarbek Zhunisbayuly and junior lecturer of the Department «Customs, Financial and Environmental Law», author of the textbook «KR Keden Kukygy» Sabyrzhan Maliuly.

The main purpose of the event was to introduce students to legislative and legal knowledge on the prevention of harassment and protection of their rights in an educational institution.

During the meeting, the speakers discussed with students the problem of harassment in educational institutions, shared statistics and told about how to properly respond to such situations, where to seek help, and what measures to take to prevent such incidents. He also spoke about the rights of students related to the academic part, academic mobility and a double degree.

During the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers, to which they received comprehensive answers. This helped students better understand their rights and responsibilities.
