Applicant 2024: "Profession - the way to the future" offline meeting

On February 14, 2024, an offline meeting with students in grades 10-11 took place at the private school "AiSaf" as part of career guidance work. The event on the theme "Profession - the way to the future" was organized by the Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation of the Institute of Philology of AbaiKazNPU.

Students in grades 10-11 were presented with general information about our university and detailed information about the specialties of the Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation within the university, and relevant presentations and videos were also shown for wider reference. The event was attended by the head of the Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation N.N.Konkabaeva and senior lecturer Zh.M. Yelemesova, who spoke about student`s life at Abay KazNPU and all the specialties of their institute.

Information about the position of Abai University in the global market and its international relations increased the interest of schoolchildren. Participants in the career guidance forum gave comprehensive answers to questions such as translation activities, oriental and foreign languages, general social benefits and opportunities to win a grant for UNT.

So, during the event it turned out that there are many students intending to study at Abai KazNPU. The information obtained allowed us to conclude that vocational guidance is an important task aimed at preparing the younger generation for an informed choice of a future specialty.
A meeting was held with the General Director of the private school "AiSaf" S.S. Akhmetova, school director M.B. Abdrakhimova and the head of the Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation N.N. Konkabaeva. During the meeting, issues of extending the bilateral contract and opening a branch were discussed.
