Open boxing tournament

From February 14 to 18, 2024, an open boxing tournament was held on stage, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Zhigitter Quartet and the memory of the People`s Artist of the Kazakh SSR, singer, composer Eskendir Otegenuly Gasangaliev. During the competition, 1st year student of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Koshkin Kundiz, who competed in the 57 weight category among girls, took third place. And among men, 1st year student of 2nd group Murat Akzhol, who competed in the 80+ weight category, took 3rd place. Also, Ergeshbay Sayat, a 1st year student of the 1st group, who competed in the 67 kg weight category, won 3rd place.
