Scientific and methodological seminar on the topic «Methods of creating electronic textbooks»

On February 15, 2024, a scientific and methodological seminar of the Department of Chemistry, the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography was held. At the seminar, senior lecturer of the department Manapov Nurlan conducted a master class on the topic «Methods of creating electronic textbooks». The scientific and methodological seminar was attended by the teaching staff of the Department of Chemistry.

Nurlan Manapov spoke about the features and possibilities of the technology of creating an electronic textbook in the educational process. The speaker showed his electronic chemistry textbooks by example. He showed the requirements for creating an electronic textbook, several computer programs and their capabilities. In particular, she presented the possibilities of Macromedia Flash animation programs, SunRav Software for creating computer electronic textbooks. At the end of the seminar, they were introduced to the ChemOffice 2020 packages for performing quantum chemical calculations in chemistry, the working conditions of computer programs ACDLabs202212_ChemSketch_Finstall, HyperChem, Gaussian_09.
