Informative seminar «Kazakhstan`s model of inter-ethnic harmony»

On September 27, 2022 in Abai KazNPU the seminar «Kazakhstan`s model of inter-ethnic harmony» was held, organized by the institution «Kyogamdyk kelisim» of the Department of Social Development of Almaty akimat and the university project office «Rukhani Zhangyru».

The purpose of the seminar is realization of information-explanatory work among the youth in the sphere of strengthening of the state language, which is our spiritual value, by strengthening of social consent and all-national unity, interethnic relations.

The seminar was attended by Shyngys Nurlanov, vice-rector for social development of Abai KazNPU, Kazbek Mamsurov, chairman of the Ossetian cultural and educational centre «Irnykhas», Akimzhan Arupov, member of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan, member of the information and awareness-raising group on interethnic relations, Director of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations, head of the republican association of Uigurs, Tauenov Kanatbek Tauenov, teacher at the Department of History and Social Sciences of Kazakhstan, KazNAA named after T. Zhurgenov, Shakharman Gulzhikhan, head of the Department of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, Abai KazNPU, students of the university student assembly «Birlik», representatives of the directorate of institutes, teaching staff and students.

The speakers and guests told the students about the basis of formation of interethnic culture in the country and its model, about the importance of becoming a multinational state.

As Shyngys Nurlanov noted, Abai KazNPU conducts a great work in this sphere. The chair of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan and Student Assembly «Birlik» put in the plan of work such aspects, as the further consolidation of society, harmonization of ethno confessional relations, strengthening of the interethnic consent; coordination of educational and research work of ethno political orientation. It was emphasized that it is necessary to mobilize efforts in the direction of providing common methodological and practical ways of promoting Kazakh model of public concord.

Public figures, in their turn, shared their thoughts on what kind of example the relations between the peoples who have long lived in one country could be.
