Master students successfully defended their dissertations

From June 20 to 22, 2022, at the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology, dissertations were defended by undergraduates in the specialties «Russian Language and Literature», «Russian Language and Literature in Schools with a Non-Russian Language of Instruction», and «Philology».

This academic year, a well-known Kazakhstani scientist, Bayan Umirbekovna Dzholdasbekova, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dean of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, was invited as the Chairman of the State Attestation Commission this academic year. In her opinion, the practical significance of their dissertations became a distinctive feature of the work of our undergraduates-philologists: approbation of the main provisions of the research took place not only at scientific conferences, but also in teaching activities - in the classroom and extracurricular work on the subject in schools in Almaty.

Saule Abisheva, Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, congratulated the graduates of the Master`s program on the successful completion of an important stage in their professional development. For many of them, admission to doctoral studies will be a continuation of the path to science.
