Successful PhD defense

On April 13, 2022, in the dissertation council for the defense of dissertations for the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Doctor in profile in the direction 8D023 - Languages and Literature (6D021300 - Linguistics) at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, a dissertation was defended in the specialty «6D021300 - Linguistics « Assel Sabyrbekovna Kozhakhmetova on the topic «Representation of axiological semantics in the language of the Kazakh press». The dissertation was completed at the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Abai KazNPU. Scientific consultants: Manat Musatayeva - Doctor of Philology, Professor (Abai KazNPU) and Alexander Kiklevich - Doctor of Philology, Professor (Warmia-Mazury University, Olsztyn, Poland).

The defense was held at a high scientific, theoretical and organizational level in online and offline formats with a 100% quorum. Foreign member of the dissertation council Professor Kenan Koch (Turkey) and foreign consultant Professor A.K. Kiklevich took an active part in the discussion of the dissertation online. The defense took place in a constructive, business-like and correct atmosphere. In accordance with the new Regulations on dissertation councils, the entire defense procedure was carried out in electronic format: filling out an attendance sheet, voting.

All members of the council and those present enjoyed the defense, during which the doctoral student demonstrated a high theoretical level, excellent knowledge of the material, high linguistic erudition and a broad scientific outlook.
According to the voting results, a decision was unanimously made to award A.S. Kozhakhmetova the desired PhD degree of a doctor in the profile in the direction 8D023 - Languages and Literature (6D021300 - Linguistics).
