On November 29, 2019, the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature named after Academician S. Kirabayev of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University holds an international scientific-practical conference «Communicative Linguistics and Lexicology», dedicated to the 70th anniversary of professor of our university, a doctor of pedagogical sciences, a member correspondent of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the 1st degree prize named after Sh. Ualikhanov, holder of the state grant «The best teacher of the university», academician of the International academy of Pedagogical Sciences, Secretary of the Language Commission to determine proficiency in the state language of the candidates for the post of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1999, 2005, 2011 2015zhzh) Orazbayeva Fauziya Shamsievna.

The main directions of conference`s work:
1. F.Sh. Orazbaeva - personality: teacher, scientist, methodologist.
2. Communicative-pragmatic paradigm: discourse, story, communicative categories.
3. Anthropocentric paradigm: communication, cognitology, psychology, linguodidactics.
4. Teaching philological subjects: educational paradigms, functional literacy, new technology, innovative methods.
5. The art of words and linguistics: literature, multicultural space and the artistic image of the world.
6. Pedagogical communication: personality culture, pedagogical rhetoric, competence.
