Abai University students took third place at the All-Russian Student Olympiad in Pedagogy

On the basis of the Altai State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University named after V.M. Shukshin, the All-Russian Distance Student Olympiad «Pedagogy: effective educational practices» was held. It was attended by 57 teams from 35 universities of the Russian Federation and CIS countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Belarus). The Olympiad is held for students of higher educational institutions, bachelors and masters studying in educational programs of pedagogical specialties.

The goal is to create conditions for the implementation of the research and methodological potential of students in the field of pedagogy and professional socialization of students; development of professional competencies in the implementation of the requirements of state educational standards of higher education; formation of active life of students, their professional development and individual-personal self-realization.

The Olympics were held in three rounds. The first included a competition of multimedia presentations of teams and writing an essay on the topic «The role of a teacher in the formation of a children`s team.» The second - Willingness to design effective educational practices - consisted of the competitions «Pedagogical analysis of artistic videos» and «Say in a fairy tale and describe with a pen.» In the third round, the participants of the Olympiad competed in the video contest «Interactive Forms and Methods in Educational Practice».

The team of Abai KazNPU, formed from 2nd year students of the Institute of Natural Science and Geography in the specialty «6B01512-Chemistry-Biology» Vorontsova Darya and Zaitova Adilyam, took third place.
