An online meeting with the press secretaries of the country`s universities was held at MES of RK

On April 29, 2020, the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of RK held an online meeting with the press secretaries of universities in our country.

The event was attended by Advisor to the Minister for Media Relations Yerbolat Mukhamedzhan and Director of the Department of Postgraduate Education of MES of RK Adilet Toybayev, as well as representatives of the press service of the branch department and their university colleagues. Abai KazNPU was represented by a staff member of the Department of Public Relations Rima Zhanbayeva.

During the meeting, they discussed the work of universities in the field of websites, social networks and the media, providing students with the necessary information about the activities of universities and creating effective feedback. The format, reliability and efficiency of the information provided to the public, including in the media, were examined. In accordance with the rules of reporting, specific recommendations were made for the development and promotion of social networks, improving the work of sites and the management of published messages.

In particular, it was suggested to organize webinars on SEO and social network development to promote the university brand. The online meeting was very productive. The participants gleaned many useful ideas.
