Teacher status - people`s reputation!

On November 20-27, 2019, with the support of the Akimat of Almaty, the Department of Education of the city of Almaty held a traditional competition «named after Kasyl Katykbaev «Teacher status - people`s reputation» among secondary teachers.

The aim of the competition was to increase the status of a teacher by promoting the experience of young innovators and teachers who contribute to the formation of spiritual values and the development of a competitive personality among the younger generation.

Teaching staff Abai KazNPU shared its experience in evaluating the work of teachers participating in the competition, in strengthening their relationship with the school, in teaching, supporting and demonstrating the practical experience of school teachers, and instilling an open mind among the younger generation.

In particular, the educators of our university became members of the jury of the contest «Teacher status - people`s reputation» A.E. Zhumabaeva, A.E. Sagymbaeva and M.M. Muratkazin.

On December 14, 2019, a meeting was held based on the results of the traditional contest «named after Kasyl Katykbaev «Teacher status - the reputation of the people» among young teachers in secondary schools in Almaty.

At the final stage of the competition, which lasted 3 months, 21 teachers from the best schools took part.

The works of 21 participants were evaluated by scientists from the university, authors of the updated content of textbooks and educational and methodological complexes, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Asia Zhumabaeva, Professor Ainur Sagymbaeva, Candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Mukhtar Muratkazin, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Akimzhan Saylybaev, Member of the Board of Directors of Almaty Raushan Kozhambetova, winner of the republican contest «Best teacher of Kazakhstan» Kairbai Kanat.

12 teachers who reached the final stage of the competition received an honorary diploma from the mayor of the city of Almaty B. Sagintayev and a cash prize in the amount of 100 000 tenge from the sponsor of this competition M. Adilkhanov.

Grand Prix - the car was awarded to the physics teacher of the school gymnasium № 59 Hassen Zaru;
1st place and cash prize in the amount of 500,000 tenge received a history teacher from gymnasium № 168 Eldar Abdykalykov;
The 2nd place and a cash prize of 300,000 tenge were received by a mathematics teacher at school of gymnasium № 148 Dorvetkhan Gulzhan;
The 3rd place and cash prize in the amount of 200,000 tenge was received by the teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of secondary school №180 Akhmetova Kuralay.

The honored worker of Kazakhstan, scientist, statesman Berkimbaeva Shamsha, Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, veteran teacher Mirazova Ayagul, vice-rector for academic work of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University Satmurzaev Asan, akim of Medeu district Makezhanov Sultanbek and congratulating the winners of the contest, thanked the jury, professors of our university, and also handed a letter of thanks on behalf of the mayor of Almaty Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
