«Portrait of a 21st Century Teacher»

On December 4, 2019, a round table «Portrait of a 21st Century Teacher» was held with first-year students of the specialty «PMPE» of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology. The event was organized by associate professors Akpaeva A.B. and Lebedeva L.A., senior lecturers Bekbaeva M.T. and Ryabovoy E.V., as well as second-year undergraduates Zhetkergenova Zh., Kassenova N., Kurbanova A. and Tsoi S.

The purpose of the meeting is to engage students in the discussion of urgent problems of modern education, training of competitive specialists in this field.

The following issues were discussed:
1. What is the role of a teacher in a modern school?
2. What is the guarantee of professional success of a modern teacher?
3. What are the requirements for a 21st-century teacher?

The participants of the round table compiled a poster on the theme: «Portrait of a modern teacher of the XXI century».

Students very actively expressed their opinions, complemented each other. The reflection «Owl Questionnaire» was conducted.
