Professor R.M.Koyanbaev and the development of pedagogy in Kazakhstan

On November 25, 2019, in auditorium 13 of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, a mentoring hour was held with first-year students of the Pedagogy and methods of primary education of the Russian branch on the topic «Professor R.M.Koyanbaev. The influence of his works on the development of pedagogical science of the Republic of Kazakhstan».

The goal is to popularize the scientific heritage of Professor R.M.Koyanbaev, to show the continuity of generations in pedagogy and the methodology of primary education.

The format of the event: a freshmen meeting with Professor Azatgul Kdyrbaeva and associate professor Larisa Lebedeva - colleagues and students, followers of the ideas of R.M.Koyanbaev. The moderator of the discussion is the group mentor, associate professor Asel Akpayeva. She said that On December 12, the University celebrates the 80th anniversary of the famous scientist, the founder of the specialty «Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education». But for more than 10 years since he has not been with us. And so that students would learn more about him, she offered to ask various questions to the guests of the event. The youth was actively interested in the history of the teaching staff, the fate and works of Professor Koyanbaev R.M.

Then a short interview was held with the winners of the essay competition «My profession is a teacher» and their rewarding. Malika Baudinova and Shakhrisad Zeynallova took 2nd and 3rd places. At the end of the meeting, Asel Akpayeva asked blitz questions about the event. The answers showed that the freshmen listened attentively and analyzed the opinions of the guests, and the discussion about the contribution of R.M.Koyanbaev to pedagogical science, about the reflection of his heritage in our time turned out to be productive.
