Code of «Academic honesty»

According to the work plan of the tutors of the department of pedagogy and methods of primary education of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, on October 21-23, 2019, an event was organized on the «Academic Policy» at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. Discussions of the University Code of Academic Honesty were held with students of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd courses. Organizers - A.I.Safargalieva, A.O. Abdykadyrov, G. B. Kamza, R. S. Ismagulov, L. M. Iskakova and M. T. Bekbaev.

The principles of academic integrity in our university were presented to students. In particular, the general provisions, definitions, principles of academic honesty, goals and objectives, types of academic injustice, penalties and disciplinary measures in relation to violations of the policy of academic honesty, preventive work and final provisions were considered and discussed.

As tutors noted, academic honesty is one of the core values of the learning process. The moral provisions of this Code should become fundamental for all students, and a clean session - the norm. T

he event organizers also gave examples of events on the anti-corruption policy of the university. In the final section of the event, each participant was awarded a printed copy of the «Code of Academic Honesty».
