The International Essay Competition «My Profession - Teacher»

The results of the IX International Essay Competition «My Profession - Teacher» were announced on November 10, 2023. This year, 43 submissions were received for the competition. Students from Abai KazNPU, Kazan Federal University, Perm State Humanitarian-Pedagogical University, Altai State Social-Pedagogical University named after V.M. Shukshin, as well as Lid College of Yanka Kupala Grodno State University participated.

Diplomas of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degrees were awarded to the competition winners.

Members of the jury noted the high regard that event participants have for their chosen profession. Teachers from Gymnasium No. 34, L.B. Karamegenova, D.T.Abduvalieva, N.S.Tileuova, I.S.Petrova, and T.A.Zhukova, emphasized that all the essays were interesting, well-written, and effectively addressed the competition`s theme.

M. N. Derikoshma and A. O. Kasymbekova, deputy directors for educational work at Gymnasium No. 120 named after M. Begalin, expressed their appreciation for the reflective essays on the teaching profession, its historical significance, and its role during pivotal moments in a country`s fate. Seasoned educators found it intriguing to learn that many students today choose to pursue a career in teaching, following in the footsteps of their parents.

Young educators, E. A. Kulakova, K. V. Degtyareva, and Sh. Yu. Khalikova, pointed out that many essays underscored the importance of constantly seeking new methods and technologies to effectively educate and inspire students.

All the essays presented in the competition convincingly highlight the significance of the teaching profession for society today.
