Educational and methodological webinar on the topic «Digital competencies of a teacher as a subject of educational activity»

On November 23, 2022, a joint educational and methodological webinar was held on the topic «Digital competencies of a teacher as a subject of educational activity». The event was attended by teachers of Department of «Primary Education», Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, primary school teachers of Almaty, as well as students of the distance department of specialty 6B01303 - Primary education with information and communication technologies.

The webinar is devoted to the use of digital devices in education, the development of digital competence of a teacher as a subject of educational activity. Moderators: Aigul Safargalieva, Nazgul Sartayeva.

In the introductory speech, teachers of information and communication technologies actualized the importance of digital competencies of a teacher as a subject of educational activity in his individual development trajectory, pointed out that the use of video tutorials, multimedia presentations, infographics, etc. in the educational process can improve the effectiveness and motivation of learning, as well as the quality of the educational process as a whole.

The participants of the webinar made presentations on the ICT competence of primary school students (Sahinur Manapova, PSU SHG No. 118, Almaty), on graphic information processing technology (Victoria Akhlupina, Blue Sail Educational Institution), on informatization of primary education (Oksana Osenmuk, Bolashak Kemenger School), on informatization of education as means of improving the effectiveness of the educational process (Tatiana Ivakhnina, Private Linguistic Gymnasium complex «Ai-Nur»). The discussion of the actual problems of the teacher`s digital competencies was interesting, fascinating and informative.
