Debate «The role of using educational digital resources in foreign language learning»

On April 20, 2022 at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai KazNPU doctoral student of the 3rd year of specialty «8D013-Training of teachers without subject specialization» G.S. Makharova organized a debate on «The role of using educational digital resources in foreign language learning» among the 1st year masters of specialty «Initial education with multilingualism». The aim was to form professional-pedagogical, personal positions of undergraduates in digital education and to develop their communicative skills.

During the discussion, questions about the advantages and disadvantages, effectiveness and negative consequences of using digital resources in the educational process were discussed. Information was also given on the effectiveness and specifics of using platforms, websites (Duolingo, Learn English British Council, Internet Polyglot, Live Lingua, Open Culture, Livemocha, Babbel, Learn a Language) and social networks to learn a foreign language.
