Multimedia presentation at the lesson
In an interactive format, students, undergraduates and teachers learned about new types of presentations and their most striking elements. Participants of the event mastered the skills of developing various «tricks» and their use in the teaching process. The guests of the workshop were teachers of schools of Almaty and the students and teachers of KazNWTTU.
The moderators of the event - associate professor Asel Akpaeva and senior teacher Ekaterina Ryabova - organized the training of experts within the discipline «Workshop on Creating Multimedia Educational Products». They were 2nd year students of Primary Education with ICT. They taught all the participants: to work as a team in one presentation; to insert and record sound or video in a Google presentation; to create interactive objects on slides; to make a video lecture from a presentation.
The results of the international contest «Presentation to the Lesson», which was held from March 10 to April 6, 2022, were also announced. The moderator of the competition Ekaterina Ryabova for the sixth time organized the collection of applications and the work of the jury, which included teachers Larisa Lebedeva, Aigul Iskakova, Gauhar Kamza and Asel Akpaeva from the vocational training department of «Primary education».
The modern format of the scientific-methodological seminar in the form of a workshop proved its efficiency. Lively communication and interaction of the participants in multimedia workshop groups, genuine interest of the participants in the problem under study made the event stand out. A highlight was that the students had the opportunity to be experts in their field and teach their elders on an equal footing with their teachers!
