The debate was held on the topic «Time capsule»

On December 9, 2021, at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai KazNPU, the 3rd year doctoral student of the specialty «8D013 -Training of teachers without subject specialization», G.S. Makharova held a debate on the topic «Time capsule» with the 2nd year students of the EP «Primary Education in English».

The students watched documentaries on the topic and created individual time capsules. During the debate, various issues related to the time capsule and its features were discussed (childhood journey, independent choice, goal setting, planning and implementation, dividing into stages, chronology, comparison with the past, problem solving, reporting). Students played a vocabulary game «guess quickly».

The purpose of this event is to increase the personal potential of students, to promote the development of their discursive and pragmatic competencies.
