International Pedagogical Lounge: experience of project activities in primary school

On November 17, 2021, the «Primary Education» EP of PTD held a regular meeting within the framework of the International Pedagogical Lounge. At these events, topical issues of primary education were discussed. Students, university teachers, and primary school teachers share their vision of the problem and experience. This time, students and teachers from Almaty, and Russian cities - Moscow, Perm, Volgograd, Biysk, Samara, as well as Belarusian - Grodno, joined the discussion.

The meeting discussed the problems and prospects of organizing project activities as a platform for the development of giftedness of younger schoolchildren. The speakers were teachers of Altai State Humanitarian Pedagogical University named after V.M. Shukshin and teachers of the primary school of Biysk. Topics of participants` speeches:

1. Shilova M.V. (MSI «Department of Education of the City Administration of Biysk»)- «A gifted child in the city`s education system».

2. Fedyanina N.N. (primary school teacher of MBEI «Gymnasium No. 1», head of the Department of Primary Education) - «On the issue of working with gifted children at the Department of Primary Education».

3. Nizhegorodtsev A.Y. (primary school teacher of MBEI «Gimnaziya №1», Biysk) - «Educational component in the work with gifted children».

4. Volkova N. V. (candidate of pedagogical Sciences, Professor of pedagogy and psychology of V. M. Shukshin ASHPU) - «Project activities in elementary school educational sample for gifted children».

5. Chichkanova I.N. (Associate Professor of the Department of Psychological and Pedagogical, Preschool and Primary Education of V.M. Shukshin ASHPU) - «Vectors of development of cognitive interest of younger schoolchildren in research activities».

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere and an atmosphere of cooperation. The students noted for themselves the possibilities of project activity. The teachers suggested organizing an international student project exploring the possibilities of project activity in modern education. The ways of further cooperation are outlined.
