The acceptance of documents for the «Abai» Scholarship Program has begun

In the 2024/2025 academic year, students of the bachelor`s program, studying from 2nd course and under both the state educational order and on a fee-paying basis, and who have only "excellent" grades (A, A-), are eligible for the «Abai» scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded for one academic period.

Students receiving the Presidential Scholarship are not eligible to participate in the «Abai» scholarship competition.

Stage I

Applicants must submit the following documents to the Directorate of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute and the deans` offices of the faculties:

· Application addressed to the Chairman of the Board-University Rector;

· Transcript;

· Copies of documents confirming achievements (diplomas, certificates, awards, etc.);

· Copy of identification card.

The deadline for submitting documents for the «Abai» scholarship is February 28, 2025.

Stage II

At Stage II, candidates with the required documents must present their research work as part of the Science Week and secure a prize-winning place. Based on the results of these two stages, winners will be selected according to the quota allocated by each institute/faculty.

Students who win the «Abai» scholarship will receive a monthly scholarship of 100 000 tenge.

The candidate selection process is conducted by an independent commission. The results of the competition will be published on the university website in March 2025.
