Meeting with Representatives from the University of Minnesota

On October 11, 2024, Abai KazNPU welcomed the Dean and professors from the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota (USA) for a productive discussion.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for collaboration in various fields, including pedagogy, education, inclusive education, and educational psychology. Abai University expressed its intention to establish cooperation in areas such as academic mobility, dual degree programs, and visiting professors. Additionally, ideas for joint projects and research in special education and advanced technology were proposed.

The representatives from the american university from their part provided information about their research developments, ongoing studies, and future plans.

During the meeting, the parties identified potential areas for collaboration, prioritized educational programs, and discussed opportunities for establishing long-term international partnerships in scientific research.

As a result of the meeting, both sides expressed their intention to continue cooperation in the fields of education and science.

It is worth noting that the faculty of Abai University had previously completed research internships at the university through the Bolashak program.
