ICT in Scientific Education as a Key to the Future

On November 4, 2024, a lecture by Professor Muammer Calik from Trabzon University was held for senior students of the Department of Chemistry at KazNPU Abai. The topic of the lecture was "The Role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Science Education."

During the lecture, Professor Muammer Calik discussed how various technologies and their application in the educational process enhance student engagement, improve access to resources, enable personalized learning, and foster the development of essential skills. He emphasized that the use of interactive and multimedia technologies makes learning more engaging and helps students better grasp the material.

The lecture examines the role of an ICT professor, the effectiveness of interactive methods, the importance of content visualization in increasing students` understanding, personalization of learning, the development of critical thinking, the use of ICT in practical tasks, and ways to improve student academic performance. Interest in the subject, technical difficulties and ways to solve them, as well as the issues of preparing students for future professional life, are considered.

During the lecture, students had the opportunity to express their opinions, ask questions, and share practical examples. Professor Muammer Chalikh`s lecture helped students understand the importance of ICT in education, as well as develop skills in the effective use of technology.
