Abai University and Auezov University exchange experiences

On November 25, 2023, a delegation from Abai University made a visit to Auezov University in order to exchange experiences and establish partnerships in the context of transformation according to the research university model.

Abai University representatives explored the research infrastructure of the university in the neighbouring region, toured the innovation laboratories, the Centre for Inclusive Education, the Education and Information Centre, as well as visited the first in Central Asia Rae Kwon Chung Centre for New Climate Economy and Sustainable Development, a TV and video studio specialised in educational content development.

During the F2F meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of Auezov University`s development as a research university and considered issues of cooperation between the universities in the field of training highly qualified specialists.

The joint meeting ended with the signing of a memorandum on cooperation in Master`s degree programs within the framework of dual degree programs.

Rector of Auezov University Daria Kozhamzharova noted: "I am sure that after this visit our universities will have new ideas for joint scientific projects in the field of education. Such visits of colleagues from Kazakhstani universities are invaluable experience for us".

Representatives of Abai University expressed their gratitude to colleagues for co-operation and warm welcome.
