Rector`s meeting with students of the Institutes of Philology and Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology

On November 23, 2023, the Rector of Abai KazNPU Bolat Tlep held a meeting with the students of 1-4 courses of the Institute of Philology and Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology. He emphasised the role of future pedagogical specialists in the formation of an educational environment conducive to the development of the individual and society as a whole, and assured that he is ready to support the initiatives and projects of students.

The rector noted that education is intended not only for professional education, but also for the upbringing of conscious citizens and future leaders. He also shared his plans to improve the competitiveness of the university in training new teachers and their qualifications for high-level innovative schools.

At the meeting the issues of educational process, social support, pedagogical and industrial practice, improvement of foreign language skills, university and hostel infrastructure, provision of classrooms with interactive whiteboards and internet were discussed. They also raised topical issues concerning cultural, sports and scientific initiatives aimed at the development of student life. The Rector expressed his readiness to consider and implement constructive proposals to improve the quality of education, learning conditions and student environment. He urged the Student Self-Government to be more actively involved in solving the problems of students.

The event ended with productive dialogue and open exchange of views in discussing issues related to student life. Such meetings contribute to strengthening ties between the university administration and its student community.
