The work of the department complies with the main regulatory documents. The Department of Philology, Chinese Language and Sinology trains highly qualified specialists in accordance with the state license of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the 2024-2025 academic year, the main focus of the Department of Chinese Language and Sinology is not only providing specialized education to highly qualified specialists in the field of teaching the Chinese language, but also training qualified specialists with a humanitarian culture, ethical and legal standards, the ability to scientifically organize their work and a culture of thinking.

The main objectives of the bachelor`s degree:
- methods and technologies of teaching the Chinese language;
- development of the student`s interest in the Chinese language within the framework of education;
- formation of skills of self-study of the Chinese language;
- cultivation of a sense of internationalism, love for Chinese culture and traditions;
- development of intercultural communicative competence.
